I’m a Mexican physician-scientist specializing in neurobiology, neuromodulation, and pain research. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Spaulding Neuromodulation Center (Mass General Brigham / Harvard Medical School) and M.S. candidate in Anatomy & Neurobiology at Boston University, I investigate how environmental and biological exposures drive maladaptive neuroplasticity in conditions like phantom limb pain. My work combines non-invasive brain stimulation, AI-driven neuroimaging, and large-scale population datasets to advance personalized neuroscience. I also collaborate with The Neurosurgical Atlas to develop AI-based annotation tools for brain cancer, enhancing precision and reproducibility in neuro-oncological research.
